Affiliate Disclosure

1 Why this page exists

The ACL prohibits misleading or deceptive conduct. The ACCC therefore expects websites to clearly disclose any commercial relationships that could influence content or links.

This page explains how affiliate links on bargainbonnet.com work so you can make informed choices.

2 How affiliate links work on Bargain Bonnet

  • When you click a retailer link or “Buy Now” button on our site, a tracking cookie tells the retailer that Bargain Bonnet referred you.

  • If you then purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

  • Commissions fund site maintenance and future features (price alerts, DIY guides, etc.).

3 Affiliate programs we use

  • Amazon.com.au Associates - As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

  • Commission Factory (Supercheap Auto, Repco, Autobarn, etc.) - We may receive a commission when you buy through our links.

  • Oher networks we may join - Will update list if networks change.

For ACL compliance, we also place a short “(affiliate link)” or “ad” label immediately next to each outbound link or button.

4 Editorial independence

We compare prices algorithmically and list the lowest live price first—never based on commission rate.
Retailers cannot pay to influence ranking or editorial copy. If an error slips through, email info@bargainbonnet.com and we’ll correct it promptly.

5 Price accuracy & liability

Prices and stock levels can change without notice. We do our best to refresh data in real time, but the retailer’s checkout price is final. Bargain Bonnet is not liable for discrepancies or delivery issues—see the retailer’s own terms for full details.
